Contoured Bed Wedge[Options: Quilted Fabric][Slip - No Slip]
The new and improved Contoured bed wedge now comes with a 2cm layer of memory foam on top of the product to give an even more superior comfort feel. This memory foam layer is removable if you prefer firmer support. This added adjustable option gives another comfort option to ensure that maximum comfort and effectiveness are achieved.
Scalloped top surface provides a safer sleeping position for those who want or need to sleep or rest in an elevated position.

Ear Nose and Throat - Recovery from ENT Surgery.
Recovery from Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) surgery can be greatly enhanced and more comfortable with the use of the bed wedge or similar type device. By putting the user in a more angled or upright position the pain and discomfort associated with ENT surgery can be lessened and a better recovery attained.
Some of these specialties include the treatment of allergy, sinus surgery, laryngeal, thyroid and oesophagal disorders as well as an endoscopic examination of air and food passages.
Also, any surgery relating to the oral cavity, upper pharynx (mouth and throat) and adjacent structures of the neck or head.
Two Versions
- Quilted Version - recommended for all users with the exception of when waterproof material is required
- Steri-Plus (waterproof) Version - suitable for hospitals, assisted care, when product is being shared or when incontinence may be a factor.
Memory Foam
Do
- Vacuum regularly
- Spot clean only
- Dab clean with a damp cloth using a solution of mild detergent and warm water
- Dry flat in airy location, avoid direct sunlight

General Notes
- Air regularly. To refresh sprinkle baking soda over the surface, leave it for a few hours, then vacuum it off. This helps absorb odours and keeps the product fresh.
Traditional Foam
Do
- Vacuum regularly

- Not designed for repeated washings. To avoid damage to the product from constant removal of cover, leave cover permanently on and cover with tailored overslip.
Steri-Plus
Do
- Wipe down with mild detergent in warm water

- Wipe stains using nono-phenolic disinfectant in a diluted solution
Do Not
- Machine wash
- Tumble dry
- Bleach
- Use dry cleaning solvents or phenolic disinfectants
